Best wedding design ever
Panic co-founder Cabel Sasser got married this past May. I’ve always admired Cabel’s design work, so it was a real treat to read his latest blog entry about the design he and his wife came up with for their wedding. This really is the best wedding design I’ve ever seen. It’s fun, quirky, and still very beautiful. I love the fact that the invitations combined 8-bit pixelated graphics with a more traditionally illustrated tree, all printed using a traditional letterpress. I also have to applaud Cabel on his choice of typefaces. It’s nice to see someone avoid those trite chancery fonts. Nothing screams boring like Zapf Chancery—or worse, Monotype Corsiva—on a wedding invitation.
Also, having a real analog photo booth at a wedding ceremony/reception is an awesome idea.
