Lost In My Thoughts

I felt like being doubly nice to you tonight, my gentle readers. Fast on the heels of Anomaly Four comes the third recording for the Anomalous project, “Lost In My Thoughts.” Although this one was written on a classical guitar, I decided to record it with my Strat and add a chaotic/hypnotic/sophomoric electronic beat to it.

“Lost In My Thoughts” is definitely one of the more cinematic guitar doodles I’ve written. When I hear the guitar by itself, I imagine a scene in which a genius is working feverishly—monomaniacally even—inching ever closer to some profundity. Some of that might be lost with the electronic beat I added to the recording, but hopefully you can still hear it.
